Email providers (Gmail, Outlook…) check that whoever sends on behalf of your domain is authorized. Three DNS records do this:

  • SPF: lists which servers may send email for your domain.
  • DKIM: signs every email to prove it was not altered.
  • DMARC: tells the recipient what to do with an email that fails the two checks above.

If your domain uses our nameservers, we have already set them up. If your DNS is elsewhere (for example, Cloudflare), you must copy those records there: in cPanel, open Email Deliverability to see your domain status and the exact records.

Other tips:

  • Always send from an address on your own domain.
  • If your website sends email (forms, shop), configure it to send through SMTP with username and password: for security, our servers do not allow unauthenticated direct sending.
  • Avoid sending bulk email from your mailbox.
